The inevitable development of a bio-energy industry in the United States presents a unique job creation and economic development opportunity for the Missouri Ozarks. Being an entirely new industry, bio-energy production involves a mix of issues not well understood. If the industry is to be sustainable, environmentally friendly and be benefitial for the entire Ozarks region, those issues must be understood and questions resolved. Accordingly, Ozarks Green Energy Development seeks a working relationship with existing organizations as it acquires and disseminates information about bio-energy technology best suited to the Ozarks and stimulates public discussion of relevant issues.
