The Community Foundation of the Ozarks is a public foundation serving the Missouri Ozarks.  CFO is dedicated to working with its donors, nonprofit partners, and affiliated community foundations in meaningful and purposeful ways.

 

The Foundation’s mission is to enhance the quality of life in our region through resource development, community grantmaking, collaboration, and public leadership.

 

The Community Foundation of the Ozarks was founded in 1973 and has offices in Springfield and West Plains.  CFO has $135 million in charitable assets, over 1,200 funds, and has made over $40 million in grants and distributions since its inception.

 

 

CFO Grant Making Programs

CFO supports community grant making programs throughout the Missouri Ozarks. These efforts include affiliate community foundations, Metropolitan Springfield, the Missouri Ozarks region, and Youth Empowerment programs.

In addition, CFO manages more than 140 Scholarship Programs.
