Ameren has identified sources that wish to compete for leasing projects. The sources range for large companies to individual investors. The project size must range from $50,000 and up. Company must have 3 years of operation and/ or strong business plan with financial backing. Restaurant equipment is not eligible. Public or private sector applicant completes Ameren’s questionnaire and supplies a documented price quote. Ameren Economic development will source it to its leasing network. When the best lease quote is received, it will be sent to the applicant. There is no commitment on behalf of the applicant until the lease is signed. Private sector projects are usually manufacturing equipment. Public sector project have included pump stations, police radios, fire trucks and other equipment.
