MCB Project Book Has New Guidelines

The 2007 MCB Project Book guidelines have changed. We are trying to make it easier for communities to participate in the MCB Award Competition. This year the project book should contain a maximum of 38 pages. Section One will have the same 13 pages as last year. Section Two should have no more than 25 pages and feature no more than five projects.  The 2007 theme is: Planning and Planting the Seeds for Success.

NEW REQUIREMENT: Due to the rising costs for the judging process Missouri Community Betterment is requiring an entry fee of $50. Checks should be made payable to MCBEF and sent to MCB, 22820 Hwy. 24, Dover, MO 64022. The MCB Entry Form, entry fee and new MCB Permission Statement are due postmarked June 30, 2007.

Communities entering the awards competition should plan to have someone from their community attend the 2007 Annual Conference to accept their award.

The 2007 entry materials may be obtained on the MCB web site at mcb web site . If you need assistance please contact Jan Simon at 660-259-4409 or at mcb@iland.net
